REGGIES Wrap Up

REGGIES Wrap Up

That’s a wrap! We had a GREAT time in Chicago last week at the 2015 BAASH Conference and REGGIE Awards Gala. Not only did we meet some amazing people and become inspired by all the speakers and REGGIE finalists, we came back to Hoboken better marketers.

Here are some of the highlights from the Inflexion team:

Elizabeth Barry, New Business Director:

2015 REGGIE Awards GalaI had an amazing first experience at BAASH and the REGGIES this year. The speakers were passionate and they brought up wonderful themes such as authenticity, disruption, risk-taking and knowing what motivates your audience. It was awe inspiring to know how much goes into the big brands and their projects from concerts, live commercials, experiential campaigns with cupcakes brought to Apple fans on line and much, much more.

And, well, the fact that I asked Adrian Grenier to hug me and I got my hug… that was baller.

Overall, the winner was SF SPCA, which made me smile because helping animals is a wonderful thing. When a commercial or campaign can be intrinsically rewarding, as well as selling a product or service or message, you’ve done good.

Kevin Cale, Executive Creative Director:

I came back home with so many new ideas and inspirations. My top 3 take aways were:

For Brands- Being authentic (in your marketing message) is key to gain consumer trust and loyalty
For Agencies- Never overwhelm your client with details about your thinking and agency facts, instead keep it simple, clean and understandable. It will make it much easier for your amazing creative idea to be remembered by your client.
For Everyone- Taking risks in your creative is a must in order to break through the clutter and get brands noticed, as well as remembered.

Make sure to also check out the full list of REGGIE winners. Congratulations to everyone involved! We’re already looking forward to next year.
