Get to Know Our Bowhunting, Go-Getter Sales Executive

Joe G Web Design Sales ExecMeet Joe G. He believes every failure is only a step closer to success. Which is why he helps companies do great things as Inflexion’s Sales Executive. See what he has to say about Inflexion’s “for the team” mentality and what helps him unwind at the end of the day…

Do you have a mantra you live by?

“Everything happens for a reason”
“20 seconds of courage is all you need for something amazing to happen”
“There is no excuse for not succeeding, only lessons to be learned”

What motivates you?

Helping others and making someone else’s life better is something that really brings me happiness and motivation. Achieving personal goals is also a big motivator for me. I set goals for myself and expect to accomplish them.

If you could replay a fun (or deep or big) moment in your life, what would you choose?

The loss of my Grandfather was one of the hardest yet motivating things for me. My grandfather was a successful dentist and an awesome human being. Growing up without him was very difficult, especially when I was constantly reminded how awesome he was and how loved he was. I strive to be like him and my other grandfather whom fortunately is still with us. Being surrounded by a family full of great people has really defined me as a person and kept me on a great life path.

What are some values of Inflexion that matter to you? How do these affect the work you do?

Something really unique about Inflexion is the “for the team” mentality. I have never experienced anything like it. Being able to come to work everyday with people that all love their jobs, and are damn good at it, I might add, is such an awesome experience. The focus on the culture is something that really motivates me.

How do you make the world a better place?

I have always been the type of person to help others even when they don’t ask, talk to anyone I meet and make sure that no one is left out. I think that the amount of time that I invest in other people gives me a sense of satisfaction. I never like to see someone treated poorly for being different, or not being able to complete a task because they physically cannot do it, so I make sure to go out of my way to help others. I am not a big fan of recognition and don’t do any of it for that, but more for personal satisfaction.

What’s one favorite thing you do by yourself?

Hunting. Hunting is my time to relax, be silent and still and just take in nature and all it has to offer.

Something no one knows about you?

Prior to working at Inflexion, I was not a fan of Hoboken or NYC… Now, I can’t get enough of it.
